Buena Park Youth Theatre School of Rock the Musical
Spring 2024 production of “The School of Rock”, a musical based on the movie starring Jack Black which follows Dewey Finn, an out-of-work rock singer and guitarist who pretends to be a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. After identifying the musical talent in his students, Dewey forms a band made up of elementary school kids in an attempt to win the upcoming Battle of the Bands contest.
